Lend Some Hands Only

If you have two hands, you can help a cardiac arrest patient.

It’s called “Hands Only CPR”, and you can find detailed information about it here. The concept is simple: 1) Call 911 (get more help coming). 2) If there might be an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) nearby, send somebody to find it. 3) Start pressing the person’s chest.

No, you don’t have to touch your lips to their lips. It’s helpful, but not required.

All you have to do is push.

If the AED shows up, it talks to you.

If nobody does anything, the person in Cardiac Arrest will most likely die. Give them a chance…like these people did:
