Properly applied first aid can save lives,
reduce recovery time and quite possibly mean the difference between
temporary disability or lifelong disability for the
victim.
Basic First
Aid program participants
learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of injuries and sudden
illness. Crucial information about how to deal with emergencies like bleeding,
shock, burns, strains, fractures, allergic reaction, diabetic and seizures is
shared. Basic First Aid covers treatment
for both adults and children.
Basic First Aid is a 5
hour course, designed to help in those minutes between a medical
emergency occuring and when Emergency Medical Services arrives.
Successful completion of this course will result in a 3 year
certification card being issued by the American Safety and Health
Institute (ASHI).
This class is available to be taught to
